    Da Herr Chulz aus Eschweiler zukünftig Kanzler, Außenminister oder Papst wird, braucht die EU einen neuen Parlamentspräsidenten (Frauen sind da glaube ich nicht erlaubt).

    Die EVP hat sich nun für einen Signore Tajani als Kandidaten entschieden, der als ausgesprochener Berlusconi-Freund und Monarchist aber für Parlamentarier links von der Mitte nicht wählbar ist.

    Überhaupt wären dann alle Positionen der EU (Ratspräsident, Kommissionschef, Parlamentspräsident) mit Konservativen bestückt, was nicht allen im Parlament gefällt. Die "große" Koalition mit der S&D-Fraktion scheint jedenfalls aufgekündigt, so dass ev. Rechtspopulisten den Ausschlag geben, oder Herr Sonneborn, indem er wie gewohnt nach dem  Motto "Ja zu Europa, Nein zu Europa" bei seinen Entscheidungen eine Münze wirft. Aber dazu bräuchte es erst mal Gegenkandidaten zum Italiener. Schon am 17. Januar soll gewählt werden. Irgendwie peinlich, dass das wichtigste Amt der europäischen Legislative wieder so intransparent, schnell und öffentlich unbemerkt verschachert wird.
